This website was very informative as far as Charlie Chaplin’s career. I learned what his goals were and why which is very important as far as why and how he was so innovative later in life. The article also included information about a company Charlie created later in his career which I couldn’t find anywhere else.

This book was all about the life, career, and inspirations behind the man known as Charlie Chaplin. With pictures and quotes from Charlie Chaplin himself, this book was extremely helpful in the formation of an outline and eventual paper regarding his astounding effect on the world.

This site’s article was primarily on the Charlie Chaplin’s career. Although very informative,
there were some gaps as to the timeline Charlie Chaplin’s career. For example, there was
hardly any information towards the end of Chaplin’s life, with the exception of the years
prior to his death. I was also able to find out who and what was inspired by Chaplin.
Epstein, Jerry. “Remembering Charlie- A Pictorial Biography.” New York: Doubleday, 1989.
With more pictures and information on Charlie’s works, this book had much more information than pictures. With more information on the days after the stereotypical Charlie, this book included dates, events, and facts about key moments, like winning a special academy award and being knighted, that no other source could offer.

This website provided a very short article that consisted primarily of an interview. This interview, however, provided many quotes from Marcel Marceau, one of many inspired by Charlie Chaplin. This is very helpful due to the fact that Marcel is a world renowned mime. The article also gave me statistics such as the number of films Chaplin had created and how much money they grossed and brought to his pocket.

This article gave a lot of information that was unnecessary such as more biographical
Information. This tended to dilute the useful information. I did find some information on
Charlie’s company experiences which helped lead to much of his innovative years.
